How to Install Leaf Springs – Step by Step Guide

Leaf springs are one of the essential parts of any vehicle suspension. They support the weight of the vehicle and keep the tires on the road by regulating the wheelbase lengths during braking and accelerating. They also help control the ride height and the axle damping. If you want to replace the leaf springs, you need to know how to install them. Here is a basic guide to installing the leaf springs.

Van Leaf Springs

  • The first thing you need to do is prepare your old suspension. You need to remove the rust from the old leaves without damaging parts you need for the new springs. Then, you need to soak all the reusable parts in oil to loosen it up and make removal much easier.
  • Once you have prepared the leaf spring, you need to raise the rear end of the vehicle and remove the rear tires by using a floor jack.
  • Once you have placed the floor jack and lift the vehicle, you need to remove the old leaf springs. At first, you should loosen the nuts and bolts of the leaf spring bracket U-bolt and then remove it. Place all of them to the side. Now, start by removing the leaf springs and keep it down slowly.
  • Now, you need to start the installation of the new leaf spring. Place the new one in place and insert the mounting bolts and retainer nuts to secure the spring. It is best to use new bolts and nuts in case the old ones are worn down.
  • Secure all of the mounting bolts by tightening them with a screw. Then, place the U-bolt brackets in place and ensure that they are securely placed. Make sure you check them again in a week again.
  • Once the new leaf springs are installed, you can remove the floor jacks and lower the vehicle.

While changing the leaf spring or rear springs may be a simple job and you can do it your own, if you are unable to do it, you can hire a mechanic to do it for you. Also, you need to make sure that you buy only branded leaf springs and rear springs from trusted stores online. Always check their reputation online and read reviews about their products before purchasing from them. Also make sure that they deliver in the area you live in or your money would go waste and you would need to procure it from another store.

Leaf Springs and Its Main Advantages of Using Them

Leaf springs are not fancy looking and are simple long and narrow plates that are attached to the frame of the vehicle that rest above or below the vehicle’s axle. They look for metal bow but without the spring. They come in a number of different varieties depending on the type of vehicle you are using and your need.

Even though, you might not have noticed leaf springs in your large vehicle, they have been around for years. The quality of leaf springs suspension systems can vary greatly depending on the manufacturers of the vehicle, it is important that you choose only high quality leaf springs for your vehicle to provide you a great and reliable service.

Boxer Leaf Springs

Advantages of Spring Leaf

Here are some of the main advantages of using leaf springs in the vehicles –

  • The first and the most important advantage is that the construction of the suspension is quite simple and it can form a link for holding the axle in the right position eliminating the need for a separate linkage.
  • Since the leaf spring is located at the rear axle, there is no requirement for trailing arms and panhard rod. This helps in saving cost and also do not add to the weight of the vehicle.
  • Leaf springs can comfortable support the weight of the chassis.
  • Since the leaf springs have a rear center and wider spring base, it can also control the chassis more effectively. The springs are mounted wide apart that reduces the tendency of the spring to roll.
Disadvantages and how to overcome them

The leaf springs systems need technical knowledge to be installed, but you can hire a specialist to do it for you. The inter-leaf friction between the leaf spring can reduce the ride comfort, but can be overcome by installing high quality leaf springs. Even though the lead springs can lose their original shape and can sag after constant use, they are easily available in the market and can be replaced in a matter of minutes.

Coil or Leaf Springs – Which is Better?

Most of the trucks and older cars come with leaf spring suspension from the factory; there is an ongoing debate as to whether they are better than coils. Even though coils have been used for about hundred years, the leaf springs have been in existence for over thousand years. Each of them has their own benefits and the one that is best for you will depend on your vehicle type and its intended use. When it comes to the functions, leaf springs functions are much simpler and do not need complicated coil spring set up to be installed. They are sturdier and handle more loads than the coils. This makes the vehicle easy to raise and lower when needed. Thus, when performance is concerned, leaf springs are more in demand.

Maintenance of Spring Leaf

In order to maintain the long life of spring leaf, proper maintenance and inspection is critical. This also includes the entire suspension system of spring and its chassis parts. With the increase in the equipment and fuel costs, normal maintenance checks can easily be overlooked that can lead to costly repairs. By choosing to give minimum attention to the spring suspension, the vehicle owner can increase the life of the suspension system and its becomes more reliable.

Leaf Springs and Its Uses you Ought to Know

The automobile is constantly evolving. From modern cars to hi-tech accessories, there is no end to the kind of things that you can purchase for your car. For any person, car is mostly the second most expensive investment that they will make after a house. Automobiles have been around since the 20th century and today they are the most favorite for those looking to cover a relatively short distance. With the demand of cars increasing, the industry too have evolved to meet this demand and enhancing their technology by adding newer and better components to the car for smoother drive. One of the components that are used is the leaf spring that is used for the suspension in vehicles. Even though it is one of the oldest forms of suspension which is still in use, leaf springs has a lot of importance.

New Leaf Springs

What is the Work of a Suspension?

Suspensions are mostly found in large trucks and buses and are fitted to ensure a smooth ride without any jerks. It absorbs the shock when driving on uneven tracks and prevents the shock from being transmitted to the passenger’s seat. Thus, they are of absolute importance to ensure that the passengers are safe and comfortable when riding the vehicle. In order to maintain the quality of the vehicle, it is essential to take care of the suspension properly. Thus, it is important to get your car regularly serviced so that it remains good and comfortable for many years.

Leaf Springs for Heavier Vehicle

Leaf springs are mostly used in heavier vehicles but can also be found in many small vehicles as well. One of the main advantages of using leaf springs is that can be placed along a single path. In such vehicles, these leaves are placed one above the other to ensure that the effect is suspension is maximum and is comfortable for the passengers as well as the driver when driving the vehicle. Most of the leaf is separated from others by using spacers and gives more flexibility to the driver when driving.

Other Uses

Leaf springs and rear springs are also used by blacksmiths in many Asian countries as a tool for daily purposes. Since these are made of steel, they form great product for manufacturing household items like knives and other construction tools. But, they are mostly used in the automobile industries and most of the branded manufacturers will use only the best of such springs.

When using the leaf springs, it is important to maintain them properly to make good use of them. The servicing can be easily done at the dealership or a local garage with knowledge of it. It is important to ensure that the service centre is good and have good reviews. They should also use high quality products so that it does not damage the car and offer comfortable ride to the passengers and easy driving for the driver. Thus, it is best to ask the manufacturer about the quality of leaf springs that they are using in their car before purchasing.

Learn About the Beneficial Ways to Optimize Leaf Spring Suspension

The purpose of springs is to react to bumps on the roads and offer a smoother ride. Installation of springs holds immense importance. Springs that are set up properly makes driving incredibly soft and comfortable experience. Proper selection of spring helps in reducing friction between leaves.

In this article, we will understand the different types of springs and their features.

What does a spring do?

A leaf spring performs several tasks like maintaining the chassis at the level of the ride height, controlling the rolling rate, back end wrap up, axle dampening, lateral forces and brake dampening forces and sets the base length of the wheel at the time of increase and decrease in speed.

Leaf springs

Heavy duty springs

Heavy duty springs are capable of withstanding heavy loads. These lead springs are designed in a way to provide the best performance on the roads, when close to their maximum rated capacity.

As you decrease the weight on the spring from the maximum rated capacity, they tend to become stiff and less capable to respond to road situations. So it is very important in spring optimization to choose the correct springs for the actual weight you normally drive off the road.

Leaf springs

Leaf springs are very oldest form of suspensions. They exhibit a good amount of suspension features such as roll over steer, forward bite, high lateral stiffness, dampening and high anti-squat percentage. There are basically four kinds of leaf spring that are commonly used in the present racing industry. These are multi-leaf spring, parabolic single leaf, mono leaf spring and fibre glass leaf spring.

Land Rover leaf springs would get you the smoothest ride ever and outstanding articulation to handle your off-road driving requirements.

How too light spring rate hampers riding experience?

When you select very light of a spring rate, then it leads to a higher stress situation. In this way, the ride height is lost. Also, spring loses its ability to absorb the complete transfer of weight. In this way, the rear end loses excessive pinion angle at the time of increasing speed resulting to forward bite. The trick is to unload the springs when you are not racing. Place a jack stand beneath the chassis frame rail. This will increase the life of the leaf spring to a large extent.

Consequences when leaf spring is not properly installed

Improper alignment of a leaf spring produces a stress load on the springs located at the back of the vehicle. This lowers the life of the spring. With the use of runner bushing, urethane and aluminium bushing, excess energy gets absorbed that helps spring to last long.

Knowing the right type of the spring makes your selection easy. Choose only superior quality leaf spring for your vehicle. This ensures best arch tolerance and offers access to complete labs for research and testing purpose.

What Is The Ideal Time To Get Your Leaf Springs Replaced

Spring breaks due to repeated flexing over a continuous period of use. Once their life comes to an end, you would start encountering problems in it. That is the time when you need to replace them by a new one immediately.

In this article, we will the types of spring failures, factors that cause it to break and possible indications to repair or replace it.

heavy duty leaf springs

Types of failures in the spring

Shock Absorbers

Damaged or missing shock absorber results into high spring that causes failure in the spring.

Brake Adjustments

If the brakes are improperly adjusted on an axle, then there are more burden to absorb the brake force on one spring than the other. This will eventually reduce its life.

Protective Coatings

Corrosion on the spring reduces spring life. Use quality paints and take good care to lower the possibility of spring corrosion.

Surface Condition

If the surface of the spring has some defect on it, then this will lead to fatigue. Better manufacture and installation of springs reduces these defects.

Types of spring failures

At early stages

Such failures occur due to a spring defect, lower quality material, faulty installation, improper manufacturing processes or overload.

At middle stages

Problems related to its operation can arise due to continuous use. Regular maintenance and servicing will keep it in the best condition.

At later stages

You would notice a significant amount of spring failures occurring at frequent intervals of time. Spring steel could get corroded or fatigue. This would indicate that the spring can’t be used anymore.

The right time to get the spring repaired

Below are mentioned some indications when you would repair the heavy duty leaf springs

The spring has not been repaired once.
If the mileage of the spring is less than half of its normal life.
If the repair cost is less than half of the cost of a new spring.
If not more than two or three leaves of the spring are broken.
Cases where the failure does not appear to be of a fatigue type. For example: If a spring leaf gets broken through the centre hole due to faulty spring clamping by use of loose U-bolts or damaged axle seats and not due to fatigue. In such cases, one should repair the spring and the cause of its failure should be corrected.

Thus springs can break due to the variety of reasons. If you see any of these signs in your spring, then take it as an indication that your spring needs to be replaced.

All That You May Need To Know About Purchasing Leaf Springs

Leaf spring is an essential part of a vehicle. Attached to the axle and wheel, it removes resistant force and maintains the balance of the vehicle. Heavy commercial vehicles including railway carriages, SUV’s, vans and trucks make use of this device.

Purpose of a leaf spring

Leaf springs are important in heavy vehicles, as they absorb the force due to braking and sudden acceleration, thereby ensuring a smooth ride. They control chassis rolling and axle dampening and provide protection to the vehicle from various lateral forces. The devices are important in heavy load carrying vehicles, as they help in distributing the load evenly rather than concentrating it on a single point in the vehicle.

A leaf spring is semi elliptical in shape and is composed of steel or other composite materials. They form a crucial part of the vehicle’s suspension system.

New Leaf Springs

A leaf spring is a durable device but may damage with extensive use and on being exposed to corrosive materials and weather. Hence it is important to regularly check the devices for the following signs:

Signs of damage, cracks and corrosion and rust.

Sagging of the vehicle when load is place on it.

Signs of wear in the bushings at points where the chassis is attached to the leaf spring.

Signs That Can Help Determine The Time For Replacing Leaf Springs

Leaf springs are important items in a vehicle that ensure their smooth transportation. Originally known as laminated or carriage springs, they consist of a suspension system used in vehicles. Leaf springs are made of arc shaped steel pieces, which are attached to the chassis and rear axle to support any type of extra weight on the vehicle.

rear springs

Use of leaf springs

The main purpose of leaf springs attached to rear axles of vehicles is to give support. These rear springs lessen the impact of potholes and bumps in the road, and hence ensuring a smooth ride. They are also effective in maintaining the alignment of the tires of the vehicle. Leaf springs are typically used in the following types of vehicles:
  • Commercial vehicles like vans, SUV’s and trucks.
  • In farming equipment for easy hauling and transportation of farm produce.
  • In construction vehicles for facilitating carriage of heavy items like concrete, stones and bricks.
Signs that may suggest the requirement for a new leaf spring

Due to the benefits provided by leaf springs, it is advisable to ensure that the vehicles are maintained regularly. This can help in early detection of leaf spring replacement requirement. For vehicles carrying heavy loads, ensuring that the installed leaf springs function efficiently is important.

Leaf springs are located on the rear or front end of the vehicle. They may be attached either to the top or bottom of the axle in SUV’s, vans, trucks and cars. One easy way to identify leaf springs is to look for narrow steel strips, which may be stacked together. This leaf spring design helps in providing support to the vehicle when additional weight is placed on it. New leaf springs are easy to identify as they are generally coated with black paint.

Few signs that can help identify the requirement for a new leaf spring include:

Look for cracks

It is advisable to opt for leaf spring replacements in case they lack certain pieces or have broken or cracked.

Swaying

Leaf springs ensure smooth rides by absorbing the energy generated when the vehicle rides on bumps and potholes. Swaying or bouncing of the vehicle on hitting a bump may signal the need for a leaf spring replacement.

Evaluate the ability of the vehicle to carry heavy loads

An easy way to ascertain whether the leaf spring is functioning efficiently or not is to add load on the vehicle. If the vehicle sags backwards from the load, then it is a sign that the leaf spring is unable to support the additional weight. In such situations, it is recommended to replace the leaf spring.

For increasing the existing load carrying capacity of the vehicle, an additional leaf spring may also be added to the already installed leaf stack. This can raise the vehicle’s height, in addition to increasing its capacity. These additional leaf springs are known are available as add a leaf kits.

For businesses using load carrying vehicles, ensuring proper functionality of the leaf springs is important. A damaged leaf spring may adversely affect the operating capacity of the vehicle.

Useful Tips That Can Help In Optimizing Leaf Spring Suspension

For expedition travel, it is essential that the vehicle possesses strong suspension in order to carry the load of the travel equipment and for ensuring a smooth ride on bumpy roads. A strong suspension can effectively prevent possible damage to the vehicle from being driven in difficult conditions.

Land Rover leaf springs

Steps to optimize leaf spring suspension

Land Rovers are preferred vehicles among expedition travellers. In order to ensure a smooth expedition, it is important to optimize the leaf spring suspension of the vehicle. This can be done in the following two ways:

Choosing the appropriate Land Rover leaf spring

Heavy duty leaf springs are usually suitable for vehicles carrying heavy loads. In order to ensure a smooth ride, it is essential to choose the appropriate leaf spring for the vehicle. Leaf springs that have ratings near the maximum capacity of the vehicle tend to provide the best road surface response.

If the weight of the spring is reduced from the maximum capacity rating or heavier springs are used, it may cause the springs to stiffen. This may make them less responsive to road conditions.
Picking the appropriate Land Rover leaf springs on the basis of the actual weight to be carried off road can help in optimizing the leaf spring suspension. For choosing the correct spring, it is advisable to weigh the Land Rover loaded with all travel equipment and supplies. Weighing the front and back wheels separately can provide weights of both the front and rear axles.

On the basis of these weights, springs may be chosen for the front and rear axles. It is essential to ensure that the springs have a maximum rate greater than Land Rover’s axle weights. These considerations can ensure a smooth ride and can efficiently handle the off road driving requirements. The Land Rover manufactured springs offer five rear spring that have different rates.

Minimizing friction between spring leafs

Once the appropriate leaf springs have been chosen, the next step involves minimizing friction between separate leaves. Polyethylene plastic may be suitable for this purpose as it provides low friction surface but is more resistant to punctures and abrasion. It acts as a sound dampener and eliminates the noise caused by movements of adjacent parts in the vehicle.

For minimizing friction, the plastic tape is stuck to the top of each leaf. The plastic tape helps in reducing friction between the adjacent leaves and enhances the efficiency of the spring to respond to bumps on the road. This ensures a smooth ride and also checks the noise from the adjacent parts.

Few other factors to consider for leaf spring optimization include:
  • The length of the leaf spring defines its bending capacity and can ensure better articulation.
  • Centring the wheel arch axles, sparing the spring mounts results in uneven tension on spring halves and hence reduces spring wrap.
  • Installing poly bushings instead of rubber bushings can be beneficial as they are easy to replace in case of damage.
Spring leaf optimization provides a number of benefits and ensures a hassle free and smooth ride.

New Leaf Spring – When Is The Right Time And How To Diagnose Properly

When you are carrying a lot of load, chances are high that the spring would break or wear out. It can cause serious trouble for you later. Hence you need to know what is a leaf spring and the right time to change them.

Leaf Spring

Originally called laminated springs or carriage spring, leaf spring in your vehicle is a suspension system. They play a major role for the trucks and vehicles that carry heavy load. It is an arch-shaped steel piece that is bolted with other things of steel that forms a bow-like shape. When there are lot of potholes on the road, these springs help the vehicle to move smoothly.

Applications

There are many benefits of this tool and hence leaf springs are demanded in various fields.
  • Farming: Since the mediaeval times, these springs were used in the farm equipment to support farming. It proved to be very important in tractors and trucks as it helped farmers to carry and transport their goods to larger distances.

  • Industrial Equipment: These springs have been very significant part in the manufacturing of construction vehicles. They help these vehicles to load heavy materials and carry them to the construction sites and factory.

  • Transport and Business: to build transport vehicles that carry a lot of load, spring is one of the essential components. Though, several times due to overload and overstress the spring may stop working and break.

How to diagnose

Leaf spring is found on the vehicle’s rear end or front attached to bottom axle of trucks, vans and cars or sometimes, at the top. They typically have a black shiny coat of paint as it goes through a lot of roughness, dirt and rust. When your spring goes through a lot of overload and stops functioning, here are some ways in which you can find out that something is wrong:
  • Look for Cracks: You need to check frequently if there is any problem with your spring. Many times they may break and the pieces may go missing. In this case, you will have to replace the spring at the earliest.

  • Swaying: When your truck’s rear end is bumping too much on the road, you need to check immediately whether your spring is working or not. Most of the times, the spring begins to wear out and your vehicle starts to sway or bounce.

  • Amount of Overload: Before you start your vehicle after loading, you need to check the vehicle’s rear end. If the rear end of the truck sags, it is a clear sign that your spring needs to be replaced.

Add a Leaf Kit

One of the easiest and most convenient solutions to avoid the wear and tear of your spring is “Add a Leaf” kit. It can be easily installed in your truck, car or van and is also very economical. They are attached to existing leaf spring raising the vehicle up to certain height. They increase the capacity of you existing spring and makes your vehicle more efficient.

Also regular maintenance and inspection of your vehicle will avoid the wearing out of your spring. An automobile’s parts go through a lot of labour and roughness. Whether they are rear springs or leaf spring, for smooth functioning of your vehicle you need to take care of these small yet important parts.

Some Useful Tips to Help You Purchase the Right Leaf Spring

Leaf Spring and its Purpose

They are basically a suspension system of semi-elliptical shape painted in black. They were first invented in the medieval time for the farm equipment to help farmers carry goods to longer distances. In new vehicles, leaf spring is attached directly to drive axle of the vehicle. They absorb the gravity as the vehicle move and try to keep the vehicle on balance even on the bumpiest roads.

New Leaf Springs

Leaf springs have been very popular and useful for heavy-duty vehicles that carry a lot of load every day. The leaf spring divides the entire load evenly throughout the vehicle rather than at one single intersection point. Thus the vehicle is able to withstand every kind of vibration without harming the passengers and loaded things on the vehicle.

Types of Leaf Spring

Before you purchase a new leaf spring you must know in detail about their types so that you can select the one as per your requirement and vehicle type:
  • Steel or Fibreglass Spring: These are the most lightest of the leaf spring available as they are made of light plastic fibre and resins. Many car manufactures in order to reduce the car’s weight have started using fibreglass leaf springs. Most of the luxury cars use these springs.

  • Multi-Leaf: These leaf springs are stacked up in bunch of flat bars of diminishing lengths connected by clips and bolts. Each of the leaf has selected length to support the above strip providing a good strength to whole system.

  • Mono-Leaf: These springs have a single steel plate that is heat-treated at each end. They are quite lighter than the multi-leaf springs but not as protective like them. This eventually compelled the manufacturers to stop making mono-leaf springs.

  • Parabolic: These are combination of both multi-leaf and mono-leaf springs in a parabolic curve. They have combination of more than two tapered steel plates put in a bundle. Parabolic springs are lighter than the multi-leaf springs and safer than the mono-leaf springs.
While Purchasing Leaf Spring

When you want to replace your vehicle’s leaf spring with a new one you need to know which one will be right for your vehicle. For this, you need to consider the type of vehicle you have. When it is a SUV, you will need a larger leaf spring and for a cargo van you would require Sprinter leaf springs. To know which leaf spring will be perfect for your vehicle, the best option is to ask your vehicle dealer or product provider. You can also ask them in advance about the leaf springs when you buy a new vehicle.

Cars these days have become more of a necessity and luxury, and while it should have the attributes for luxury, it should also have the same for comfort, safety and high performance. Thanks to new technology being developed from time to time, new components are added to the field of automobile engineering that helps enhance the level and the standard of driving pleasure and performance that the cars delivered. This is why the kinds of cars we see now, weren’t there few years back. One of the components that contributes to this is leaf springs.
New Leaf Springs

Leaf springs have been in use for decades in the automobiles, and is a component used in the suspension of the vehicles, especially larger vehicles like trucks, vans, and even SUVs. One can get leaf springs online and offline if the older one has worn out or has damaged easily for a good price. Whether you are looking for land rover leaf springs or for any other large vehicle for that matter, shopping online at various automobile dealers’ shop would help you land on the right deal.

Suspension of the car where the leaf springs are used have the function of absorbing the shock while on the go. It helps in ensuring smoother and jerk free ride for the passengers. For bigger vehicles that might be carrying many passengers or a heavy load, it is necessary to have a good suspension, or not only can it make the ride absolutely impossible to go through, but can also put the passengers, drivers or the cargo in the vehicle at risk. Regular servicing of the vehicle is necessary to ensure good health of the suspension and its components. Checking the oiling of the components and ensuring that any damage is pre-determined for immediate replacement or is repaired is necessary to save from bigger trouble and expense in the future.

Leaf springs suspension helps in absorbing the shock at a much greater level, and these are arc shaped and placed one above the other for better results and shock absorption. They can be maneuvered easily on a tough terrain for a specific kind of path, and this ensures better driving pleasure and overall better performance of the vehicle. Leaf springs basically helps in making the drive more comfortable and safe and works on a simple mechanism. There are spacers in between the leaves, and this helps in adding more flexibility and breathing space to the suspension.

Top Ways to Enhance the Performance and Longevity of Leaf Spring

Leaf springs are among the oldest form of suspensions during racing. They contain desirable suspension feature like forward bite, roll over steer, dampening, high lateral stiffness and high anti-squat percentage. There are mainly four different types of leaf spring used in the racing industry today. They are multi-leaf spring, mono leaf spring, parabolic single leaf and fibreglass leaf spring. You need to choose only high quality lead spring. This ensures that the leaf spring is made properly; guarantees arch tolerance, access to complete labs for testing and research too. A leaf spring performs a number of tasks, including holding the chassis at ride height, control the rate at which it rolls, control the rear end wrap up, controls axle dampening, control lateral forces like side load, pan hard and side bite rate, control brake dampening forces and lastly sets the wheel base lengths during acceleration and deceleration.

Van Leaf Springs

There are a number of ways one can enhance the performance of the lead spring and make them last longer. By dampening the shocks, the car will be tightened on entry and the life of the spring will also be increased. This way leaf spring will not get destroyed easily because the shock will help it in absorbing the dampening forces. The driving style of a person also affects the life of the leaf spring. When people put extreme lateral force on the springs when slinging through the corners, it can cause premature failure of the string. Even impact from tire hopping or grazing can cause the leaf eyes to bend or unroll leading to undesirable change in the spring rate and the wheel base settings.

Many people make the mistake of choosing too light of a spring rate that can cause higher stress situation and losing ride height in the process. In addition, the spring will absorb the entire weight transfer and not plant securely on the tracks. Such a situation also causes the rear end to lose excessive pinion angle during acceleration leading to forward bite. When you are not racing, you can unload the springs and place a jack stand under the chassis frame rail. This simple step can greatly increase the life of your leaf spring.

When the leaf spring is not properly installed or there is misalignment, it can produce a load of stress load on the rear springs. This greatly reduces the life of leaf spring. Bushing can also affect its life and also the spring performance. When you use runner bushing, it absorbs more energy and the springs lasts longer. Urethane and aluminium bushing prevents any desirable chassis and rear end movement creating a favourable synergy between the chassis, springs and the rear end. These also control and enhance the chassis performance by resisting the torque. Solid bushing can provide your car with stability and also predict handling characteristics that can lead to more consistent lap times that is needed to win the races by the drivers.
